The chapter recycling products made of wood in the context of skills and professional training of employees is based on one of the sub-tasks of the IGA project, which is being processed at Ambis University, and therefore the results of the pilot survey regarding significant changes in the subject area within the Czech Republic. The main goal was to point out the area of recycling, which is very current, not only from the point of view of multinational institutions, but above all from the point of view of processors and producers in individual EU member countries. Recently, there has been a large influx of new regulations and legislative changes in the field of recycling, in the packaging economy and in the field of end-of-life products. The woodworking industry is key in this regard, and the obligation to change will not only concern the product itself, management, but also new demands on the professional skills of employees. Therefore, the authors first of all focused on defining the basic key elements that will be directly affected by the new legislative changes, they pointed out the demands regarding the professional skills of employees who are an important part of the entire recycling chain.
