Kniha se věnuje tématu upřednostnění služby státu před péčí o vlastní rodinu. Respektive se zaměřuje na situace, kdy hrozí, že budou zaměstnanci volit mezi zabezpečením či ochranou vlastních rodin na straně jedné nebo plněním činností nezbytných pro chod a obranu státu na straně druhé. Cílem prováděného výzkumu bylo potvrdit nebo vyvrátit výzkumnou otázku, že existuje výzkumná mezera z hlediska řešení tohoto tématu ve vazbě na systémový přístup. Dalším cílem bylo identifikovat poznatky ve vazbě na ekonomické aspekty, řízení lidských zdrojů, komunikační aspekty, právní aspekty, bezpečnostní aspekty, ve vazbě na řízení rizik a ve vazbě na zkoumání systémového přístupu.

The book focuses on the theme of prioritizing service to the state over caring for one's own family. More specifically, it focuses on situations in which employees are at risk of choosing between providing for or protecting their own families on the one hand or performing activities necessary for the operation and defence of the state on the other. The aim of the research conducted was to confirm or refute the research question that there is a research gap in terms of addressing this topic in relation to a systems approach. Another objective was to identify findings in relation to economic aspects, human resource management, communication aspects, legal aspects, security aspects, in relation to risk management and in relation to exploring a systems approach.
