Cílem workshopu bylo šíření povědomí o vztahu AI a lidských práv a sbírat zpětnou vazbu a zkušenosti s vývojem a nasazením AI ze strany veřejnosti. AI přináší benefity do všech sektorů společnosti a zároveň však představuje riziko pro lidská práva napříč všemi technologiemi. Panel řešitelů projektu TAČR představil lidskoprávní rizika a možnosti jejich prevence a eliminace. Zároveň seznámil s příležitostmi pro využití AI pro ochranu lidských práv. Hlavní témata workshopu: 1. Proč AI a lidská práva? Která lidská práva jsou ohrožena a jak zajistit ochranu? 2. Prevence a eliminace rizik: Systém hodnocení rizik pro lidská práva v životním cyklu AI 3. Evropská unie a Akt o umělé inteligenci 4. Příležitosti využití AI pro ochranu lidských práv 5. Situace v AI sektoru v ČR ve vztahu k lidským právům

The aim of the workshop was to spread awareness about the relationship between AI and human rights and to collect feedback and experiences with the development and deployment of AI from the public. AI brings benefits to all sectors of society while posing risks to human rights across all AI technologies. The panel of investigators of the TAČR project presented the human rights risks and possible means of their prevention and elimination. It also presented the opportunities for using AI to protect human rights. Main topics of the workshop are the following: 1. Why AI and Human Rights? Which human rights are at risk and how to ensure protection? 2. Preventing and eliminating risks: Human rights risk assessment in the AI life cycle 3. European Union and Artificial Intelligence Act 4. Opportunities for using AI to protect human rights 5. Situation of the AI sector in the Czech Republic in relation to human rights
