Role a význam manažerů pro úspěšné fungování a konkurenceschopnost organizací je neoddiskutovatelná. Ostatně tento fakt podporuje nejen řada odborných studií a mezinárodních institucí věnujících se managementu, ale i skutečnost, že Česká manažerská asociace (dále označována pod zkratkou ČMA) pořádá již 30. ročník prestižní soutěže Manažer roku. Spoluprací mezi AMBIS vysokou školou, a.s. a ČMA vznikla tato výzkumná zpráva. Přičemž cílem této výzkumné zprávy je na základě analýzy přihlášek vymezit: ✓ profil vítěze soutěže Manažer roku, ✓ profil nominovaného manažera/finalisty. Následně bude na základě sekundární analýzy dat vymezena současná a budoucí úloha manažera a to včetně profilu úspěšného manažera pro následující roky (výhled do roku 2030). Výstup bude obsahovat rámcové vymezení možností predikce budoucích potřeb a nároků na pozici manažera, které mohou být využity pro nastavování parametrů dalších ročníků soutěže Manažer roku.

The role and importance of managers for the successful functioning and competitiveness of organizations is indisputable. After all, this fact is supported not only by a number of professional and international studies institutions dedicated to management, but also the fact that the Czech Management Association (hereinafter referred to as CMA) is already organizing the 30th year of the prestigious Manager of the Year competition. The cooperation between AMBIS University, a.s. and CMA this research report was created. While the aim of this research reports are defined based on the analysis of applications: ✓ profile of the winner of the Manager of the Year competition, ✓ profile of the nominated manager/finalist. Subsequently, on the basis of secondary data analysis, the current and future role of the manager will be defined, including the profile of a successful manager for the following years (outlook until 2030). The output will contain a general definition of the possibilities of predicting future needs and requirements for the position of manager, which can be used to set the parameters of the next years of the Manager of the Year competition.
