Úspěšné řízení projektů je důležitou součástí strategické práce. Zaměření a motivace projektového týmu na dosažení cíle projektu, schopnost realizovat aktivity v daném čase a bez překročení rozpočtu jsou považovány za klíčové faktory ovlivňující úspěch či neúspěch realizovaného projektu. Zejména v oblasti veřejného sektoru, kde jsou pro financování projektů využívány zdroje z veřejných rozpočtů, se jedná o oblast, která si zaslouží zvýšenou pozornost. Předkládaný text se zabývá plánováním a řízením projektů dle trojimperativu, tedy efektivním projektovým řízením z hlediska času, vynaložených nákladů a výstupů projektu.

Successful project management is an essential part of strategic work. The focus and motivation of the project team on achieving the project goal, and the ability to implement activities within the given time and without exceeding the budget are considered key factors influencing the success or failure of the implemented project. Especially in the area of the public sector, where resources from public budgets are used to finance projects, is an area that deserves increased attention. The presented text deals with the planning and management of projects according to the triple imperative, i.e., effective project management in terms of time, costs, and project outputs.
