The academically oriented Bachelor's degree programme in International Relations is designed to provide students with a comprehensive set of knowledge, skills and competences in the field of international relations. The program will reflect current international trends and needs, particularly in the areas of global politics, diplomacy, international law and economics, and will prepare graduates for careers in international organizations, diplomacy, the non-profit sector and other related fields. The main objectives of the program are: A Basic Education in International Relations: the International Relations program will provide students with a solid foundation in all key areas of international relations, including international politics, diplomacy, international law, and economics. Graduates will understand current theories of international relations and be able to apply research methods in their own practice. This will enable them to go on to pursue a postgraduate degree in International Relations or related fields. The programme will emphasise practical skills that are crucial for employment in areas such as diplomacy, international trade, development cooperation and global governance. Students will be prepared to work in international organizations, government agencies, the non-profit sector, and the private sector. Development of scientific thinking: the programme will encourage students to actively engage in scientific research in the field of international relations. Graduates will be able to analyse international events and contribute to the development of international policy. Focus on Contemporary International Politics: The programme will pay attention to current issues in international politics, including global security, economic challenges and global governance.

    • applies appropriate forms of interpersonal communication and effectively communicates his ideas in the context of professional issues
    • makes qualified professional decisions with the application of ethical principles and attitudes and with respect for cultural diversity
    • communicates within the scope of his professional knowledge, skills and competence in at least one foreign language
    • independently acquires relevant and trustworthy information and other professional knowledge, which he is able to evaluate and process with critical thinking
