Každý rok z dětských domovů odchází značný počet mladých jedinců. Čeká je složitá životní etapa, musí se zapojit zpět do společnosti. Hlavním cílem příspěvku je představit výsledky kvalitativního výzkumu, který zjišťoval, jestli jsou přítomny umělecké aktivity v procesu zapojení mladých dospělých do intaktní společnosti. Dále jsme zjišťovali, jaké možnosti umělecké aktivity nabízejí zkoumané skupině mladých dospělých. Výstupy výzkumu ukázaly, že umělecké aktivity sice mají značný potenciál pro efektivní resocializaci, ale sledovaná skupina mladých dospělých tohoto potencionálu plně nevyužívá. Na základě výsledků navrhneme obohacení edukační reality dětského domova o výraznější využití výchovy k umění.

Every year a significant number of young people leave children's homes. They are facing a difficult stage in their lives, and they have to integrate back into society. The main aim of this paper is to present the results of a qualitative research that investigated whether artistic activities are present in the process of young adults' integration into intact society. Furthermore, we investigated what opportunities artistic activities offer to the group of young adults under study. The research findings showed that although artistic activities have a considerable potential for effective resocialisation, the young adult group under study does not fully exploit this potential. On the basis of the results, we propose to enrich the educational reality of the children's home with a more significant use of arts education.
