The report introduces first the risks for human rights entailed by the use of AI technologies as well as the possible remedies at the technical level. It not only describes the risks related to all AI technologies, but it also offers a systematization of potential risks and their prevention in diverse areas of AI deployment. Subsequently, the report presents the results of a survey of companies delivering AI solutions and products, conducted under the auspices of prg.ai. The aim was to translate the research findings into practice and to map the current state of reflection of the relationship between AI and human rights at the level of development and operation of AI systems. In conclusion, the report contains a set of recommendations for adapting the development, deployment and use of AI technologies in line with international human rights norms addressed to the actors of the AI life cycle. Thus, for each AI technology and its life cycle stage, the outcome will provide guidance for the adoption of necessary measures and rules.
